  • What is Hope?

    Hope is a passionate and determined group of monthly givers to provide college education to single-parented, parentless and economically weak students.

  • What is I am the Change Scholarship?

    ‘I am the change scholarship' is an initiative of Team Everest NGO through which we provide  scholarship for single parented/parentless students who are good at academics, financially challenged but willing to do their graduation.

  • How the funds are used?

    Funds are used to pay college fees of students upto Rs.30,000 per year and to provide Skill development training every year.

  • Who are the beneficiaries? 

    Parentless , Single Parented and financially poor students in Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore and Bangalore who studied Plus-2 in Govt, Govt Aided, Corporation, Free Schools and private Schools with fees less than Rs 20,000 per year.

  • Will I get tax exemption?

    Yes, all the donations to Team Everest and Team Everest USA are Tax exempted under 80G and 501(c)(3).

  • Is there any minimum donation amount?

    You can donate any amount of your choice. Click here to join hope.


  • Can I make a One Time donation?

    Yes, you have the option to make one time donation or a yearly donation.


    A donor can either donate the full graduation fees of Rs 1,26,000 as one time donation or yearly fees of Rs 42,000 per year, or choose to donate any amount of their choice.

  • Will I get the student details?

    Yes. We let you know which student you supported by December.

  • How to volunteer?

  • Will I be able to meet the student?

    Yes, you will be able to meet student whom you are sponsoring, or we will also arrange Phone calls, Video calls for the Student-Donor interaction.


    We wish to take Donor-Student relationship to Mentor-Student relationship.

  • How much does it cost for one student?

    It costs us Rs. 42,000 per student per year. We give up to Rs 30,000 to student to cover the college fees, Book fees, transportation fees, Hostel fees, Mess fees, exam fee and lab fees. Rs 12,000 is used to provide training per year for the student so that they become employable by end of their graduation program.
